ABOUT US
In February 2005, Pastor Ivan and Pastor Tina embarked on a significant journey that would shape the future of New Harvest Christian Center and their family. Relocating to Battle Creek, Michigan, they brought with them a vision of community, faith, and transformation. This move marked the beginning of a new chapter for the church, characterized by a commitment to spiritual growth and outreach.
Initially, the church began its humble beginnings at Heritage Towers with just eight members. Despite the small size, the foundation was laid for a welcoming and nurturing environment. In July 2005, the church moved into the Orchard Park location, allowing it to expand significantly and serve over 40 families. This growth reflected the dedication and passion that Pastor Ivan and Pastor Tina instilled in their congregation.
By March 2014, the church took another significant step by relocating to the downtown area, further solidifying its presence in the community. Throughout these transitions, New Harvest Church became known for its vibrant youth programming and worship-filled experiences, attracting diverse congregants and fostering a deep sense of belonging. The commitment of Pastor Ivan and Pastor Tina to both spiritual growth and community outreach has made New Harvest Church a dynamic hub for faith and connection in Battle Creek.

What We Believe

-
An affirmation of faith serves as a declaration of our beliefs about God, reflecting our identity as children of God and our commitment to following Christ's teachings.
-
We hold the Bible to be the inspired and infallible written Word of God. We believe in one God, who exists eternally within the Godhead: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In Jesus Christ, the Son, resides the fullness of the Godhead in bodily form (Colossians 2:9).
-
We affirm the redemptive work of Christ on the cross, providing salvation for those who repent of their sins, healing for the body, and prosperity for all who trust in and rely completely on the Bible's account of these redemptive blessings.
-
We believe that cleansing from sin is achieved through faith in Christ's redemptive act on the cross, along with repentance and water baptism. Furthermore, we believe that individuals must sanctify themselves from worldly influences and live a life of holiness unto the Lord (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
-
We affirm that the baptism in the Holy Spirit, as described in Acts 2:4, is a gift available to all believers, as indicated in St. John 1:33 and St. John 7:38-39.
-
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, whose presence enables Christians to lead holy and separated lives in this world.
